Goal Categories. True prosperity is success in every area of life. Thus, it is necessary to establish goals for each of your major roles. Bubbles for Busy Women Planner uses the FISHES categories: Family, Intellectual, Social, Health, Economic, Spiritual

Record your Goal using the 3 “P”s:
  1. Personal - Include yourself in the statement
  2. Positive - Use Action Words in the Affirmative
  3. Present - As if you’ve already completed your goal
For example, I Speak Spanish Fluently, is an excellent goal statement. Now, that you've recorded some goals, select three of them and determine a few major projects for each that you will need to complete to accomplish these goals.

Project Bubble Map
Roadmap—Project Management. Once something appears on your Radar, it’s time to map it out. Keeping with the top-down approach, the Roadmap is the next step in making your life manageable. This is where you take the big rocks of your life and break them down into little rocks.

Redefining the Term "Projects"

Projects are any outcome that you desire that will take more than one step to achieve. One of the causes of procrastination is the feeling of being overwhelmed. The solution is to break things down into specific action steps.

Like goals, projects are made up of several smaller steps. In a similar fashion. This little poem (I'm not sure who the author is) brings sharp focus to the power of breaking things down into smaller, more manageable pieces.

Mile by mile, life's a trial.
Yard by yard, life is hard.
But inch by inch, life's a cinch!

Rudder—Task Management. The Rudder is the steering mechanism. If you have properly defined your Future Reality and your Desired Results, your present moment decisions will be sharp and effective. The Rudder will keep you on track and moving toward your dreams and goals.

CHOP it Down. One of the best ways to get control of your life is to break it down into manageable pieces. CHOP is an acronym for the contexts of your life: Computer Actions,Home Actions, Office Actions, and Phone Calls and Messaging. When you subdivide your projects by defining the next physical action, you begin to take control. Having a sense of control will make you happier.

Register—Calendars. The undated calendars should be a planning tool to help you visualize your goals coming to pass. Keeping with the top-down approach, complete the monthly pages first, then, break it down on the weekly pages for especially busy weeks.

Lists. Use the My List pages for anything you need to track whether it’s Honey-Do’s orNew Shoes.

And, last but not least...the Birthday Keeper. Keep track of the key birthdays in your life in one convenient place.

Now that you know how to use the Bubbles for Busy Women Planner, Day Planner for Women, go take control of you time and live the life you've always wanted.

Are You a Visual Organizer?

It has been said that 80% of what people learn is visual.
- Allen Klein

In a recent study, over 60% of the population preferred Visual to Sequential learning. This is why many people are unable to use an electronic calendar tool effectively.

The linear nature of task management software and list-based paper planners is contradictory to how most people think. After all, they were designed by engineers.

Like Sticky Notes on a Desktop

Since bubble maps are laid out like sticky notes on your desktop instead of a filing cabinet (like traditional planners), you are primed for action. As Aristotle discovered, your mind is designed to know “where” things are.

The spatial layout encourages you to take action and enhances your short-term memory. These features are why many people have found success with bubble maps when lists have failed them.

"I Love How The Bubble Planner Makes Me Think"

"I sincerely appreciate your time and the effort you have taken to send the bubble planner! I absolutely love how it makes me think about my life and the things that I want to BE and DO and HAVE. I am very excited to have the planner at the start of a new school year. I am sure the bubbles will help me become a more successful teacher this year!"
